Christina Sophie was born on September 16th, 1793 in Oelsnitz, Vogtlandkreis, Sachsen. Christina Sophie's father was Gordian Zorn and his mother was Christiane Dorothea Frank. His paternal grandparents were Johannes Zorn and Magdalena Mendler. He had three brothers and a sister, named Johann Friedrich, Carl August, Christian Gottlob and Johanna Magdalena. He was the second youngest of the five children.-
