Carl August Zorn 
Carl August was born on October 25th, 1789 in Oelsnitz, Vogtlandkreis, Sachsen. Carl August's father was Gordian Zorn and his mother was Christiane Dorothea Frank. His paternal grandparents were Johannes Zorn and Magdalena Mendler. He had three brothers and a sister, named Johann Friedrich, Christina Sophie, Christian Gottlob and Johanna Magdalena. He was the third oldest of the five children.-
