Veronika was born on February 9th, 1690 in Kempten. Veronika's father was Joachim Heydecker and her mother was Susanna Schachenmayer. Her paternal grandparents were Joachim Heydecker and Ursula Kiesel. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Markus, Joachim, Marcus, Ursula, Magdalena, Susanne, Anna Maria and Euphrosina. She was the fourth oldest of the nine children. She had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Georg, Johann Leonhard, Maria Catherina and Anna Barbara.-
