George Louis was born on March 28th, 1894 in Syracuse, Onondaga, New York.  George Louis' father was Jakob Kesel and his mother was Emma Waldt.  His paternal grandfather was Jakob Kesel. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Jacob J., Leonard, Harry, Mary, Emma, Emma Margaret and Charlotte.  He was the fourth youngest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 67 on April 22nd, 1961.
