Arthur Carolus was born on July 13th, 1902. Arthur Carolus' father was Frank Joseph Kesel and his mother was Agatha L. Harter. His paternal grandparents were Franz Kesel and Katharina Werner. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Frank, Leonard Michael, Florette Katharina and Ida Agatha. He was the second oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 76 on April 10th, 1979 in Rochester, Monroe County, New York, USA.
